Gluten Free Sports Supplements

Sometimes deciphering whether a supplement contains gluten or not can be a daunting task. So I've compiled a list of a few brand name supplements that are popular by demand. Even though I've done some deep inquires as to the validity of the information, I always encourage you to check the labels for yourself.  With that said, here we go.

Cytosport ( :

Very popular on the market by Cytosport is Muscle Milk, and the Muscle Milk Light line. Muscle Milk is known for it's great taste and wide variety of flavors. Not all Muscle Milk & Muscle Milk Light flavors are Gluten-Free, so I will just list the flavors that are.

Muscle Milk : Bananas N’ Creme, Blueberries N’ Creme, Brownie Batter, Cake Batter, Chocolate, Chocolate Caramel Pecan, Chocolate Mint Chip, Dark Chocolate, Mocha Latte, Orange Creme, Peach Mango, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Strawberries and Creme, Strawberry Banana, Vanilla Creme, and White Chocolate Mousse.

Muscle Milk Light : Banana Creme, Chocolate Milk, Chocolate Mint, Creme Brulee, Dark Chocolate, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Strawberry Banana, Strawberry Milkshake and Vanilla Creme.

Now that's a lot of flavor to choose from. Yummmm!

   Gaspari :

As for Gaspari, all products besides Sizeon Powder and Real Mass have been quoted as  "100% gluten free". And given the results of Gaspari products, that's great to hear.

I've contacted BSN (Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition, Inc.) and they assured me that there products "..may or may not indirectly contain gluten due to the possibility of cross contact with manufacturing equipment.”  So consume at risk.

As more responses come in I will list more of the supplement companies who's  Gluten-Free products are in the market for us to use. In the mean time read carefully all labels. When purchasing  vitamin supplements look for any added binders  such as Magnesium Stearate, and Sodium Starch Glycolate, or the capsules themselves; some made from Gelatin.
